Titles should be neutral[edit]

@ZS Khumalo: Article titles should convey a neutral point of view. In this case, I think the article should bear the subject's real name, Johan Kotze, rather than a sensationalist tabloid nickname of "Modimolle Monster". Wikipedia is not a newspaper, so should not have article titles that read like tabloid headlines unless there are very good reasons for doing so, such as the name used is consistently used that way by every source. In this case, the sources referred to by the article seem divided even about what name to use in their headlines, and may be using the nickname to stimulate readership. The commonly recognizable name of the subject appears to be his real name, Johan Kotze. Even the article uses the subject's real name, repeatedly. There are several criteria for an article's title. and using a person's real name is more consistent with other biographies. Not only that, the subject's real name is more concise and more precise. I suggest you consider renaming the article, or justify its current title. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 11:24, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
