Dear Mr Kienigr, it is connected to the Kingdom of Hungary and not Hungary (republic). Official language was latin not hungarian. He originated from slavic territory so it is even less likely he was Hungarian. Please stop distorting history. 212.81.23.33 (talk) 20:17, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, nobody said it would be connected to a republic. Latin was the language of the administration, but not the langauge of the people. Turóc County was a Hungarian territory then, however inhabited by more ethnicities, but not this counts here. Sorry, I have no intention to distort history, even the other name versions of other languages is following as far as possible the Hungarian orthography.(KIENGIR (talk) 21:35, 26 March 2020 (UTC))[reply]

Mr Kienigr, that is what your argument implies. It is not known whether Hungarian was Johannes' language. Hungarian in the past had a wider meaning referring to all inhabitants of Hungary regardless of their ethnic origin. The 'Turóc' (comitatus Thurociensis) county belonged to a multi ethnic state. Dear IP, it is very likely he had the Hungarian language, the author of Chronica Hungarorum...I never said otherwise the meaning of Hungarian, but do not confuse necessarily ethnicity and/or language. The whole issue is not dependent of the form of the state...however, given your arguments, I ask an editor who cares about as well Hungarian medieval historical articles...

I agree with IP, the section native name is not necessary here. Thuróczy or Thuróczi (but also Turóci) originated from a noble family in Upper Hungary trace back to the 13th century and possessed a portion in Nádasér.
