GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
Sources do not need to be repeated in the same paragraph ( i.e. 17 in the first para of Retirement and honors, 17 in first para of post war career, and 4 in the third para of Early military engineer career.)
    checkY Removed redundant references. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 22:03, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The General who Wore Six Stars cites Wikipedia. concerned about reliability.Eddie891 Talk Work 23:33, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The book is reliable. It is by a reputable publisher, and I know where everything comes from. The Wikipedia was only used for the biography of Robert Ruark. See my review of the book in the Bugle. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 02:53, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Perhaps could use more images, but if none are available, so be it. Eddie891 Talk Work 22:09, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    checkY Added some additional images. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 22:03, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
File:Memo from John C. H. Lee, 26 December 1944.jpg should have the correct author, not 'United States Army'.
    checkY Added author information. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 22:03, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
