Questions

[edit]

Hi, I have added an infobox to the article, but there are a couple of questions that I couldn't answer:

  • date of birth (the sources only seem to provide a year);
  • date of commencement of service (only date I can find is 1982 as graduation from Duntroon. I believe that Duntroon was a three year degree course then, so the general probably entered service in 1979, but I don't want to make that leap unless in can be confirmed);  Done
  • finally in the Education section it says "Bachelor of Arts, UNSW@ADFA (University of New South Wales @ Australian Defence Force Academy". I don't think this is correct as ADFA wasn't established until 1986. Duntroon provided degree courses at that time, so it should probably say Bachelor of Arts, Royal Military College, Duntroon.  Done

Perhaps User:JohnCal might be able to help clear these questions up? Cheers. AustralianRupert (talk) 00:30, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re location of BA, you are spot on. The bio only refers to UNSW, not to ADFA. I will change this on the main page. Cheers, AusTerrapin (talk) 13:03, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've managed to confirm that Caligari entered RMC in 1979. I have accessed the Cadet Roll and his CSC number was 3906. The numbers that were issued in 1979 ranged from 3892 to 4040, so his falls in this range. This can be confirmed by viewing Chris Coulthard-Clark's 1986 work, Duntroon: The Royal Military College of Australia 1911-1986. Cheers. AustralianRupert (talk) 06:48, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
