Death date?[edit]

The first sentence claims that Cunningham died April 16, 1917. Later in the article, when talking about the VC, the article says: ... when he performed a deed on 12 April 1917 at Bois-en-Hache, near Barlin, France which earned him tha Victoria Cross. Cunningham died later that day....

So which is it? Did he die 12 April or 16 April?

Image[edit]

I have removed File:John Cunningham (1916) VC.jpg from this article as it is a picture of the wrong John Cunningham. The subject of this article died 4 days after the action for which the award was made so would not have attended an investiture ceremony in July 1917. The image is of Private John Cunningham of the East Yorkshire Regiment who did survive to receive his VC. NtheP (talk) 09:42, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
