Alcoholism

[edit]

As most of the fascination with him had to do with how well he played an alcoholic despite not drinking (according to him) for the part, I think we can do more for how little he acted. I'm starting it but I'm pretty sure I screwed up the rest of the lede. Kakurokuna (talk)

Changes With Birthday

Was patrolling the recent changes - noticed someone here added Jan. 29th, I wikified it. Babylonian Armor (talk) 01:45, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on John Dunsworth. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Updates

[edit]

Am curious as to how any "updates" can be made when there is no "Edit" option available?

And WHY is there no "Edit" option available?

One of his listed film roles is not formatted correctly and I'd like to make the correction. 2600:8800:786:A300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 11:57, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The page is temporarily protected to prevent further vandalism. See WP:SILVERLOCK. You can propose a change here with specifics. Qzd (talk) 19:16, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the "propose a change," but when I checked about 2 hours ago, someone had already made the correction.

However, I have just checked and that entry about him being a narrator for the Shag Harbour UFO documentary has been completely removed.

Why? 2600:8800:786:A300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 04:19, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it and several others to condense the list down to a selected filmography. The only ref that lists all his credits is IMDb, and most of them are too minor or obscure to find so much as a review or description. It was a sacrifice in order to get his passing onto the Main Page news ticker ASAP. - Floydian τ ¢ 03:45, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
