Waianae Sugar Company[edit]

Do you know any details about the locomotive of Waianae Sugar Company?

The first locomotive was imported from John Fowler & Co. at Leeds, England. It had to be disassembled and re-assembled to get it ashore. Only then it was noted that it did not match the 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge track. Fowler tractor in a film[edit]

In a video production of an Agatha Christie novel featuring Hercule Poirot, "The Theft of the Royal Ruby", there is a tractor that drive out from a farm onto a road. The company name is very clearly visible on the tractor. Is this worth mentioning? Are there other machines in other movies? Pete unseth (talk) 00:46, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
