Essay-like[edit]

  • This article needs to be copy-edited for tone, and it also needs additional references. There are broad paragraphs that are written with statements that go completely unverified. A more encyclopedic approach is necessary. bwmcmaste (talk) 06:43, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Religious denomination[edit]

Molson is currently placed in the category of Canadian Anglicans (recently moved from Unitarians). His marriage (and funeral) were at the Anglican Christ Church but (acc. Canada's Entrepreneurs: From the Fur Trade to the 1929 Stock Market Crash by John English) at the time the CofE was the only non-RC church that could register weddings. But by 1792, he had contributed to the building of the Scotch Presbyterian Church (St Gabriel Street) and remained an active member "until at least 1815". In 1832, he helped purchase land for an Unitarian chapel.

Given the conflicting evidence he might be better placed in Category:Canadian Protestants. Nedrutland (talk) 10:01, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image captions[edit]

Any reason why two of the image captions are in French? This is English-language Wikipedia after all. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:31, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
