This article omits mention of his controversial The Age of Arthur: A History of the British Isles from 450–650 (1973) -- which might be a kindness to the late scholar. It was subjected to devastating & detailed criticism by D.P. Kirby and J.E. Caerwyn Williams in Studia Celtica, 10 (1975/6) 454 - 486. -- llywrch 21:05, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
