Maybe not a hoax[edit]
Not sure this one is a hoax; there's an article about the automaker in the German Wikipedia. The sources of that article could be of use for this one, though as they all appear to be print sources it's not quite so simple as just opening a web page to verify them. Any guesswork as to why the carmaker was named after John O'Gaunt?[edit]
