I am a staffer for California Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez. Recent changes in California Assembly policies opened up the use of social sites in the pursuit of legislative business.

Looking at the Speaker's page in its current state, there is little on his legislative record or leadership/management of the Assembly since becoming Speaker. As such, I have a number of suggested edits in my sandbox — which I didn't want to make myself to comply with community standards on COI. I've worked hard to create well-cited neutral content, and ask that these sections be added to this page:

Thanks, so much — not just for taking the time to look over and incorporate these edits, but for all the work the community does here to maintain a site I know I turn to multiple times a day. I look forward to continuing work with the community here to build a great repository of information on the Speaker, the Assembly and its members.

Sincerely,

Jeremy D. Thompson — Special Assistant to John A. Pérez, Speaker of the California Assembly (talk) 19:46, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
