demoltion of Marquand home section

[edit]

I added this (and this is the first time I am trying to add anything on wiki) after reading an article about the battle to save the novelist's home, and how a very young boy started that. I thought it should be included, as it stands as testament that we have ignored his legacy to the point where his hometown was more opposed to the idea of that house being kept up as a writer's colony, etc. Newburyport has not been kind to J. P. Marquand.```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arbitrarydarkness (talkcontribs) 08:25, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Life & Work: Citations needed

[edit]

Greetings Wikipedians! The Life and Work section contains no citations to reliable sources. None at all, despite going on at length. I'm not saying it's inaccurate (I don't know enough about the topic), but this needs to be remedied. Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 11:12, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
