Anecdote[edit]

I don't feel this is suitable for the article itself, but I love this anecdote, which his wife told me a few years ago.

He wasn't very good at birthdays or anniversaries, and she said to him one year, why don't you ever give me an anniversary card? So he gave her a card, still in its cellophane wrapper, and said "look, here's an anniversary card. You can get it out every year on our anniversary and look at it!"
