This article is overall pretty good, however here's a few things I'd like fixed:

Any (sourced) estimates on a date of birth? (likely not but i thought I'd ask)

Nope. The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography gives not even a guess, and neither does Smith's article, which is pretty much the only biography of the guy (scary that it dates from 1942...). No sources for guesses. I'd guess he probably was born prior to 1066, but that'd be just a guess on my part. Ealdgyth - Talk 18:45, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Not noted for his scholarship, he died suddenly in 1122, leaving behind a reputation for hard drinking." The drinking is only mentioned in one further sentence, so i don't know if "having a reputation" for it is right.
