The Snow-Tyger[edit]

From "An answer to an anonymous libel, entitled Articles exhibited against lord Archibald Hamilton" published in 1718, the name of the ship is written as "Snow-Tyger". Is there any contrary evidence published from this time period that would indicate the name was actually just "Tyger", and not "Snow-Tyger"? I don't see any evidence of "snow" being used as the descriptor here. https://archive.org/details/ananswertoanano00hamigoog/page/n4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.59.148.205 (talk) 00:38, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
