Unpopularity[edit]

- Perhaps it didn't translate well to film, considering that the book upon which it was based was quite popular. Successful?[edit]
The film may have been "poorly received by critics", but if it "barely broke even at the box office" it was a commercially successful film, since most lose money.Royalcourtier (talk) 06:37, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
Names[edit]
The name of Jonathan's mentor is given here as "Chang," but as "Chiang" in the article about the novella. Haven't read the book in, literally, a million years...can't say which is correct, or if it may have been changed in the film's credits....PurpleChez (talk) 16:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- Just watched it through Apple TV (in Australia). This was the English version, though unfortunately the voice credits at the end are from the French version. However, in the (English) subtitles and in the voice credits that name is spelt "Chiang". Also, in the dialogue, the subtitles and the voice credits the "Girl" is named "Maureen". I've changed the article to "Chiang" and "Maureen". Errantius (talk) 11:31, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
