[edit]I was looking on PapersPast when he migrated to New Zealand. What I found was the arrival of his brother Samuel on the Hampshire, which arrived in Lyttelton on 6 May 1853:[1]
May 6, Ship Hampshire, 627 tons, Reynell, from London. Passengers, Sir Thos. and Lady Tancred and 6 children, Mr. and Mrs. John Beswick and 2 children, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Beswick and 1 child, ...
I couldn't figure out who John Beswick was but his belongings were advertised for sale in 1856 as they were to return to England. Just recording this here in case it's useful for further research. Schwede66 03:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Resolved it; they were brothers. Schwede66 20:09, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
