Birth[edit]

Josh was not born in 1973. The show NOW says Erica was born in 1962 and she was not 11 when Josh was born. Also Josh is her middle child. Ericas oldest Kendell was born in 1976 and youngest Bianca was born in 1984. So Josh was born between them two dates. 75.109.99.21 20:09, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm editing this. Josh Madden did not commit statutory rape. It was consensual and she was eighteen. Graywand

Actually, Graywand. Danielle was age sixteen. And although it was consensual sex, it was statutory rape, since age sixteen isn't the legal age of consent in this fictional town of Pine Valley. Josh didn't know that it was statutory rape at the time he had sex with Danielle though. Actually, Flyer22, Danielle was working at Fusion when Josh had sex with her, and she didn't start working at fusion until she graduated from High School at eighteen. That was why all the girls in the office where curious as to how it went, not disgusted at the statutory rape. And, by the way, sixteen is the age of consent in the state of Pennsylvania. Graywand

Graywand, from what I've read up on, and asked of viewers of this show, Danielle was either age sixteen or age seventeen at the time she had sex with Josh. I also remember Danielle's age being a deal to Josh due to Josh stating that he didn't know that she was that young.

And in the fictional town of Pine Valley, Pennsylvania, having sex with a sixteen-year-old when you're older is apparently statutory rape, as witnessed with Colby Chandler, age sixteen at this time, having gotten Josh arrested in her false claim of his statutory rape of her.

In any case, I personally don't see it as a big deal that Danielle was either age sixteen, age seventeen, or age eighteen at the time of having had sex with Josh. If she were age thirteen, then, yes, I would have been hugely grossed out and would have seen that as child abuse, but not with her being a sixteen-year-old, seventeen-year-old, eighteen-year-old, or, of course, older.

On a different note, to sign your posts on Wikipedia, you don't have to type your user name. All you have to do to sign your user name on Wikipedia is type (~~~~), without the parentheses, of course. Flyer22 09:47, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
