Fair use rationale for Image:Juan aurich.png

[edit]

Image:Juan aurich.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:08, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite required

[edit]

The article is written with many errors of grammar and spelling, and looks like it has been written by a native speaker of Spanish. It could do with a rewrite. 92.12.158.46 (talk) 23:02, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable managers and notable players

[edit]

I have reduced the notable managers section to the few managers that actually achieved something with the club in addition to removing managers that did not manage this team, i.e. managers of the other Juan Aurich clubs. Managers like Claudio Techera and Juan Reynoso were not notable managers of this club and José Mari Bakero is still the current manager without much noted success.

I have removed the notable players section entirely because there is no apparent criteria for inclusion or exclusion per WP:FOOTY. If the likes of Karl Fernandez are on that list then it is not a very exclusive list and it just seems like a list of players rather than a list of notable players. If an exclusive notable players list is to be included in the future, it needs players that actually made important achievements with the club, such as players who were on the team that won the Descentralizado in 2011. --MicroX (talk) 07:59, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

Juan Aurich (1922–1992), Aurich–Cañaña, Juan Aurich (1996–2004), Juan Aurich (2005) has been proposed for merging into Juan Aurich.

Reasoning: The three clubs are the same club, despite the bankruptcies, similarly to Rangers F.C., A.C.R. Messina, Darlington FC or Newport County. The articles are almost exactly the same, and there is no reason to keep 3 almost identical articles about what is essentially the same club.

Please participate in the merger discussion. Abcmaxx (talk) 19:43, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Given that there is so much overlap in the articles, and they are so brief, and that the merge has been uncontested in over a year,   checkY Merger complete. . Klbrain (talk) 12:16, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
