Moved[edit]

Drake lived two centuries earlier. I moved this nonsense out of the article and pu it here:

Legend has it that on the night of April 30, 1797, Sir Francis Drake and his fleet were poised to invade the island, the bishop led a procession, or rogativa. This procession of women and children processed around the cathedral three times. The British, seeing the seemingly endless marching of torches, mistook them for troops, and called off the invasion, thus saving the island. This event is commerated by a statue in Old San Juan.
