Untitled[edit]

Hi, I hope you don't mind me using the uploaded Mike McMahon picture as opposed to the previous Ron Smith one. I felt it brought out the Caligula like aspects of Cal a bit more! android 18:44, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I seem to remember, from Judge Dredd: The Mega-History, that the first artist to draw Cal was asked to copy John Hurt from Caligula, but had not seen the show, and instead based his portray on John Hurt from The Naked Civil Servant, with long flowing hair. The comic's editor was upset with this, in part because Cal also resembled himself; which explains why the character has a haircut when drawn by Mike McMahon.
