Latest edits April 2008

[edit]

Now I love Judie, saw her in 1983 (I think) in London (possibly Earls Court ?).

However, there have been rather a lot of edits from a (not) anon IP address. They seem to be a bit WP:NPOV and un WP:VERIFY. I will be taking a look and at first glance, making some cuts. Comments and advice is welcome. --Triwbe (talk) 14:44, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've made and start at the beginning, but then noticed it got a lot worse. Tackle the next section soon! Edgepedia (talk) 13:13, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot, this make the article a lot more respectable IMO. I should also put it higher on my list of thinhs to do, but you know ... "-)

Looked at lot of the current stuff and most of it was a diary of her collaborations. Deleted most of it, but perhaps a short (referenced!) summary could be put back in. Look at the article and I think the article is much better and deleted the cleanup, POV and neutrality flags. I then added a refimprove as we only have one reference! I think the article could now do with a copy edit. Edgepedia (talk) 17:21, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

I've uploaded the best crop I could get from the photos I took at Fairfield Halls in 1985. That must be John Edwards behind her. However, I think there are some marks on the image -- anyone who knows how to can they tidy this image up? Edgepedia (talk) 05:51, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Somehow this page feels a little cheap and really like a biography. There is something about the tone that makes it feel as though a fanclub has written it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.237.56.123 (talk) 00:42, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Morcheeba

[edit]

Judie provided lyrics for the song "Enjoy the Ride" from Morcheeba's album "Dive Deep". Would it be worth mentioning this in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.81.49 (talk) 25 June 2009

If you can find sources for it, why not ? --Triwbe (talk) 13:14, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Quality rating

[edit]

The article is missing references, citations and verification and needs substantial clean-up. It can't be rated B. The closer proper rating is C. Lewismaster (talk) 13:00, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tzuke is not a Polish surname

[edit]

It is most likely a rare variant of the Jewish surname "Zucker". I don't know if they would have used the "Tzuke" spelling in Poland, that would have looked distinctly foreign to a Pole. It is curious that the article makes no mention of her Jewish heritage. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 11:27, 11 March 2019 (UTC) Edit: It's pronounced "tsook" or "zook" so it's probably an Anglicization of the German Zug. Wouldn't be all that rare for someone in 1920's Poland to have a German surname. Possibly Jewish, possibly not. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 17:09, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023 article cleanup

[edit]

This month I've had a cleanup of the article, removing over 12,000 bytes of unsourced content. Some additional citations are still required though and I've therefore kept the template at the top of the article stating that additional citations for verification are needed. I've deleted the template stating that a cleanup is needed. But if any editors have further concerns about the article, please specify the issues of concern and a further cleanup can then be made.
