Catholicity?[edit]

I understand the word's multiple meanings. In this context, specifically that of discussing the faith of a devout Jew, describing it as catholic can only be seen as either an attempt at pedantry, humor or prejudice. I recommend it be changed to, "imbued with a strong religious spirit, true to the teachings and observances of the Jewish faith, yet exhibiting the widest acceptance to those of other beliefs."
