"Amongst her awards, we remember"[edit]

Back on 29 September 2008, User:Prassitele wrote: "Amongst her awards, we remember:" and then a long list.

On 7 August 2015, User:Youreadme added more awards.

From where did you remember these? (And does "BRNO" just mean Brno?) -- Hoary (talk) 01:03, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The mention by User:Prassitele seem really old. Not sure what they meant by "Amongst her awards, we remember" but I agree that it sounds weird. Since then the page has been updated significantly. That section specifically is now called honors and awards. A lot more biographical information was added, more works and honors, and mainly - numerous cited sources were included. As for Brno - you are right, it doesn't have to be all caps. Youreadme (talk) 18:58, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed "BRNO" to "Brno".
The list of honors and awards cites no sources whatever. Compare that with the (much shorter) list of awards for Martin Parr: each one of these comes with a source (and none of these sources is Parr himself or his agent or dealer). -- Hoary (talk) 23:01, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at your Martin Parr example I see what you mean about the sources. These Award venues are respectful and legitimate. Adding sources shouldn't be a problem. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Youreadme (talkcontribs) 23:10, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
