Gallus?

The Wikipedia page for the Roman general (and purported EUNUCH?) Gallus said that he was loyal to her because he was "basically her husband." Does anyone have a source/more info for this, and should it be added to her page? It sounds pretty important if it proves to be true. Thanks!
