I'd recommend getting rid of the "stub" designation at this point. I've added more information (including the answer to the question above) and several source citations.

There seems to be some controversy as to whether Moran was the first female anchor of Wide World of Sports (most sources say she was, but there's some evidence that Becky Dixon briefly cohosted with Frank Gifford a few years earlier).
