  • ... that Julio César Gandarilla Bermejo, former Cuban Minister of the Interior, did not have a Twitter account, even though Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel said all senior leaders should have one? Source: [1] "Pese a la solicitud de Miguel Díaz-Canel de que todos los altos dirigentes tuvieran cuenta en Twitter, Gandarrilla no estaba presente en esa red social." ("Despite Miguel Díaz-Canel's request that all senior leaders have a Twitter account, Gandarrilla was not present on that social network.")

  • Long enough, new enough, thoroughly sourced (AGF on foreign language sources), neutrally written and no Earwig pings. I wonder if there’s a way to make the hook snappier? I am interested in the fact that he was a founder of the National Revolutionary Militia (is that 1960?) and was a Minister in the Twitter era!
ALT1: ... that Julio César Gandarilla Bermejo, a founder of the Cuban National Revolutionary Militia, ignored instructions from the Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel to make a Twitter account?
Maybe that’s a bit much. Do you see a better option? Innisfree987 (talk) 03:35, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ALT1 seems fine- he must have been a founding member of the National Revolutionary Militia at the age of around 17, as the source that says he was a founder also gives his year of birth at 1943. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:40, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So young! I think that’s all set then. Good to go! Innisfree987 (talk) 16:44, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
