This page is in reference to the NCAA Division III running back Justin Beaver, of the UW-Whitewater football team. Beaver has been one of the notable players to star for the Warhawks, and has aided them in reaching their third consecutive DIII Championship (12/15/2007 4pm EST) against Mount Union College. Beaver has broken team and WIAC records, and has received a level of fame by as he was named the 2007 John Gagliardi Trophy, for the outstanding Division III player in academics, athletics, and community actions. I would expect the top player from Division III to be drafted in the National Football League draft. Royalbroil 13:10, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A significant portion of this article is copied from a D3football.com article word-for-word, and that manner of use is not considered fair-use nor is the article public domain. I have deleted this content because use of this material in this manner is prohibited by Wikipedia. I would encourage those who are interested in establishing the notoriety of Justin Beaver and making this article worth-while to re-write this information in their own words and cite their sources.Nemmy25 (talk) 21:46, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Much like the Division I Heisman, the Gagliardi Trophy is not a guarantor of pro football success. I would argue in favor of the winner of Division III's top award being relevant in Wikipedia, however.Pcole2001 (talk) 19:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Logos on images

[edit]

Is it possible to get images without rhe D3 logo? The article looks like a rather bad advert for D3 right now; falls very far short of the normal standard for images on wikipedia. --Tagishsimon (talk) 01:57, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For the time being I'd like to leave them there. When I get some free time in the next week I'll try to set aside the work to redo them, or at least make them more watermark-like, if that would be preferred? It was a 2am task a few nights ago. --Ryanjcole (talk) 06:29, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
