My feeling is that this article should be a part of or well referenced by a new article devoted to Insect development; I've not the expertise to write this myself. Courtland 17:35, August 4, 2005 (UTC)

I added quite a bit about JH affecting development through insect instars - though I agree a general insect development article would be good. I don't know enough about insect development generally to start it really though I could contribute a bit about JH, PTTH, Ecdysone etc.. basically the hormonal bit! Thermal effect

[edit]

Does this hormone gets fragmented/broken by a thermal process (baking, grilling, boiling)? Because if no, this could be the reason for obesity. 87.78.23.209 (talk) 18:31, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
