Where's the sanscrit text[edit]

There isn't really any one "Sanskrit alphabet" -- Sanskrit has been written in various local alphabets in India. Most westerners encounter Sanskrit written in Devanagari, and Devanagari could be included in the article, but it's not essential... AnonMoos (talk) 06:48, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"According to lexicographers, it is a synonym also meaning "bow-string", but only its geometrical meaning is attested in literature. " seems inaccurate. Apte ^[1] quotes "मुहुर्जीवाघोषैर्बधिरयति" Mv 6.3 clearly meaning bowstring. Kmadathil (talk) 21:37, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
