Self-publishing/Vanity Press

[edit]
  • Dream's Sake published by V&S - what seems to be a vanity press [1]
  • Lemon Girl - published by her [2]
  • You came like hope - published by her [3]

V&S Publishers does not appear to be a vanity press, and she described being "selected" by the publisher in an interview here. Beccaynr (talk) 02:58, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, what she says can't be considered reliable. Besides, I can't locate any other notable authors and books by this publisher. I tried searching on Wiki as well [4], [5]. There are no mentions of it anywhere and hence I concluded that it could have been a vanity press/publisher. I might still be wrong though. Will dig more. Thanks for pointing this out. Her description is published by a source that regularly reviews books and interviews authors, and the same source also reviewed her book, so it seems likely that they would not have published incorrect information about the publisher. Beccaynr (talk) 04:22, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There are hundreds of such websites that are dedicated to book reviewing and publishing run by reading enthusiasts. I am not saying they would publish incorrectly. But she says her work was selected by V&S and we should believe it without further evidence on protocols of this publisher - uncertain. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 04:34, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
