The 1953 Budapest Show Trials[edit]

The article describes the show trial preparations in Budapest. This show trial is an importnat subject which few know about. Anyone who has further details is invited to write about it on this page or the artiucle page.

Few Questions:

Is the AVH (AVO) dossier of the interrogations and the preminary hearings of this trial available to the public?
Does the "House of Terror" have an exhibit/materila on this - and if YES then can some of it be posted here?
What is the von Dardel and Wallenberg families' reaction to this subject?

Answers:

I have/had personal and email contact to persons in this subject (Basel, Budapest, Jerusalem, Melbourne-Holocaust Museum, London, San Diego, Paris).
Two persons, remembers 1953: *Interview with István Domonkos, son of Miksa Domonkos who died after the show trial preparations (Hungarian)[1] and User:Tamas Szabo (my father was Karoly Szabo).
Maria Ember developed a Wallenberg conference and exhibition about 1995. I visited in Budapest. I think all this materials are today in the "House of Terror" archives. I tryed 2-3 times to contact "House of Terror", until today no positive answer. One answer was with very low interest. Nobody else reads the emails? I dont no why?
Most of the history is from Maria Ember, she lived in Budapest, original research in Moscow, she wrote a Book from secret trial. More Twists to the Tale, Mária Ember, They Wanted to Blame Us [2]
Most of the AVH documents destroyed with notes from this "cleaning-action". (research: Maria Ember).

How can a copy of the Mária Ember book be obtained? Is it in English?
Do you live in Hungary? If so, did you try setting up an appointment with director of the House of Terror and/or the Holocaust museum on subject of the planned 1953 trials?Emesz 15:46, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answers:

I had two meetings with Maria Ember in Budapest about 1990-1992.
Date of Maria Ember death December 30 2001. She was 70 years.
Mária Ember book is in Hungarian. I have this book: Mária Ember: Ránk akarták kenni (They Wanted to Blame Us). Budapest, Héttorony, 1992, (I think House of Terror has the original).
I live in Munich.
Please try to write one email to the director of the House of Terror: Original documents to the research from Maria Ember must be in the archives "House of Terror". My email-s answered the House of Terror with very low interest, unkind.
I think Marie Dupuy/von Dardel have no further informaton on the planned secret trials.
