GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, no copyvios, spelling and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
Good for the most part, just a few copy-edits are needed:
"The monument was positioned on the upper terrace of Pyramid O-13, where, as Megan O'Neil notes, the living king would stood.[5]" - Would have stood.
"Stela 15 is innovative, because it depicts the leader in the round, meaning it is almost a thee-dimensional sculpture." - This could be phrased better as "making it an almost three-dimensional sculpture.
"These names are difficult to translate because they are unique as to what is found in the extant Mayan glyphic texts.[11]" - rewrite to something similar to "these names are difficult to translate because many are unique when compared to extant Mayan glyphic texts."--¿3family6 contribs 15:32, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Author names for sources should be lowercase except for the first letter in each name. The reference section is well-structured otherwise, and the article adequately cites references.--¿3family6 contribs 15:33, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
checkY Resolved.--¿3family6 contribs 00:35, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
All major aspects are covered, and cultural and historical context is provided.--¿3family6 contribs 15:32, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  2. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
    Fairly presents the subject.--¿3family6 contribs 15:32, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  3. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
    Highly stable, basically a single-author article.--¿3family6 contribs 16:04, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  4. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Images check out. All free, with correct licensing info.--¿3family6 contribs 16:04, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Overall: Just needs some copy-edits.--¿3family6 contribs 15:32, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
checkY All issues resolved. Pass.--¿3family6 contribs 00:35, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Pass/Fail:
Fixed the prose issues. As for the author names, see here.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 16:28, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Prose issues fixed, see my reply to the caps issue on the talk page you linked.--¿3family6 contribs 16:56, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have fixed the caps.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 23:53, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
checkY Resolved. I had no idea an ALL CAPS parameter existed, and I have no idea what it is used for. Couldn't find anything under the "cite book" documentation.--¿3family6 contribs 00:35, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
