but cannot be heard much further than maybe five or so miles beyond it's broadcart facility, {located at 2346 W. Spruce Street in Rawlins,} rumored to be due to a complete lack of support on the part of the stations current owner, Jan Charles Gray,president of parent company, MT.RUSHMORE BROADCASTING. Not to the astonishment of very many in the business, Mr. Gray has been fined numerous times for his constant F.C.C. violations, costing him thousands of dollars, yet hardly ever investing any money in his stations, save any further F.C.C. mandated fines or penalties. There are a few sources that have other Mt. Rushmore facilities, such as the Casper, Wyoming office, supported by a current staff of 14 (Fourteen), yet truly having an "at best" staff of no more than 5 or 6 total employees.

More original research[edit]

Several reasons for this lack of broadcast quality and distance included, but were not limited to old, outdated and poorly maintained equipment, no actual engineer/engineering on staff or owner(s) lack of interest in the community, its citizens and in the business, itself. Since the station was left in the care of John Roybal, a.k.a. Michael Black, the station saw it's darkest period of broadcasting. Overall sales were at the lowest in it's almost two decade history, while no significant improvement in community relations were made. Three separate independent surveys co-ordinated by both B.M.I. and A.S.C.A.P. were taken over a four month period in the state of Wyoming. The Rawlins (Wy.) community, by and large were under the impression that either the station(s) programming had moved to another town, namely Saratoga, (Wy.,) or that the station(s) had been taken off the air when the facility had been condemned in the winter of 2009, again under the tenure of Roybal (Black). Though not confirmed by B.M.I., sources connected to A.S.C.A.P. reported that they had encountered several Rawlins residents that were not aware of ANY radio broadcasting station(s) in the city whatsoever. Roybal (Black) is said to have resigned shortly after the facility was condemned.

Again, more original research. There are no sources that say this. While I believe it, given this station's history and lack of coverage, in the best interest in wikipedia, if you find sources for this, add it in, otherwise, quit adding it or I will delete it again.--milonica (talk) 06:24, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
