"Green Devils"

[edit]

Please stop posting some bullshit about "Green Devils" and that no vehicle was destroyed, many of them were. Some beyond repair. Gazeta Wyborcza is not a reliable source of information, some stupid journalist wrote stupid article in that newspaper and you are citing it like it would be worth something. --Corran.pl (talk) 10:09, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Polish

[edit]

The Finnish Patria Eight-Wheeled Armored Modular Vehicle forms basis but Rosomak itself is Polish. Choicerpex (talk) 20:34, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • The KTO Rosomak is "just" a license built Finnish Patria AMV, not a Polish design, so country of origin should be Finland, not Poland. It's where it was designed that matters, and the AMV/Rosomak was designed by Patria in Finland, not by whoever builds it under license in Poland or elsewhere. Thomas.W talk 21:16, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Correct, and KTO Rosomak originates from Poland, based on Finnish design. Choicerpex (talk) 21:33, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Rosomak isn't based on a Finnish design, it is a Finnish design, built under license in Poland with no significant changes made to it. Even Polish sources say that it's a Finnish AMV built under license in Poland. Thomas.W talk 21:51, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is based on a Finnish design, licenced to Poland and therefore Poland is 110% responsible for its outlook, you cannot continue to call it Finnish just because it hasn't been modified, remember, Poland is what chose not to modify it. The thing is Polish. Choicerpex (talk) 21:57, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
