Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Pig of Afghanistan here. It falls afowl of WP:NOTNEWS, WP:BLP1E, and WP:N due to the udder lack of in-depth coverage. cab (talk) 06:53, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

But I disagree about WP:BLP1E - not a person! PamD (talk) 07:51, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Khanzir having his own article enables him to be included in the category "Famous pigs" - which he most certainly qualifies for. Plus, he's not famous just for one incident, but for his status. Aridd (talk) 07:18, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
He may remain in the spotlight too as there is talk about his loneliness and need for a female companion. I predict that within a few months he will have a friend and be in the news again. Drawn Some (talk) 07:32, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
True, pigs need love too. But his notability will diminish since he would then be one of two pigs.--MarsRover (talk) 08:05, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Historical notability remains. ΔιγουρενΕμπρος! 09:06, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
