Kadambur has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 61%. In Kadambur, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age..And kadambur is famous for boli a sweet snack... There is also a kadambur in Cuddalore dist called melakadamburfamous in Devaram and a rare piece of master architecture temple known as Karakoil [edit]Schools
