Not yet notable

Until this brigade does some fighting under its own name, and maybe even takes some territory, I don't think it can be described as WP:Notable. Batternut (talk) 18:33, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

This Brigade is actually very important, since it is a neutral force which operates together with SDF and government forces at the same time and marks the begin of direct cooperation between the SAA and the SDF. Also, they already have taken territory: The area held by KSMB is in orange. Plus, why should the group not be notable? Groups like Northern Division (Syrian rebel group) or Liwa Ahfad Saladin are not even an own Brigade but part of Free Idlib army / Division 99, still they have their own pages.--Ermanarich (talk) 20:14, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Interesting map. But it does describe the orange area as SAA/SDF, *not* as KSMB. Perhaps it is an area allocated to the new Syrian National Resistance, but it still doesn't say what the KSMB has. The taking of Azraq and Tell Rahal by the SNR has been denied by Hassan Ridha. I suspect all will become clear soon, but for now it still seems like 'fog of war'. Whether or not the FSA/ISIS have lost these areas, the credit is still being given to the SNR, not the KSMB. Batternut (talk) 20:44, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Regarding Northern Division (Syrian rebel group), the Northern Division seems to have been around for 4 years, cf 5 weeks for the KSMB. Regarding Liwa Ahfad Saladin, I wouldn't like to argue their notability! Batternut (talk) 20:50, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

But other reliable sources, as the Syrian Rebellion Observatory mentioned that the KSMB is the most important force in these areas. I know that the thing about Azraq is wrong, I only used this because it was the first thing I found and because I thought the fate of Azraq isn't directly important to this discussion. I mean yes, it seems to be part of the Syrian National Resistance, but it's one of its most important groups, if i got that right. Googling "Syrian Rebellion Observatory" "Kafr Saghir Martyrs Brigade" gives no results. Realistically, is it likely that a brigade formed about 5 weeks ago are going to be more important than ISIS or the TAF, the SDF or the SAA? Or the Russians? If they start taking territory against those tough-nuts, then OK! But if it's the SNR taking territory, the SNR gets the credit (whoever they are). Batternut (talk) 21:31, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

What is needed is references, reliable sources, that show that the "Kafr Saghir Martyrs Brigade" has done something notable. Not what the "Syrian National Resistance" has done, but specifically the "Kafr Saghir Martyrs Brigade". Batternut (talk) 23:09, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
