Rewrite

This page, like the Krelian page, could do with a rewrite, IMO. A little too heavy on General Game Plot for a character page, which should be limited to the Character Bio, picture(s) and anything directly related to the character. Ideally I'd like to see the page include a section for his Gears (Wyvern, Vendetta and Amphysvena (sp?)) with pics as well, but that may prove to be too large and cluttery to occupy the same page, depending on how much the author ends up writing about them. Main thing I'm trying to stress here is that general plot information can go to a number of other places, but shouldn't be summed up in a character page (like the Krelian one). I'm putting out feelers here to see if anyone objects to me rewriting this page and making major changes - for the most part removing a great deal of the clutter. Miang page is mostly finished now. I provided the majority of the content for the page, but it could do with an image. Comparing it and the Krelian and Ramsus articles, I really think the latter two need a rewrite. I don't want to go and completely revamp someone else's work without warning, but there's a serious lack of consistency between the writing styles of the different articles. Not trying to toot my own horn or anything but I think my approach might be a little better suited for it (i.e. short n' sweet articles that get to the point without providing a game script, these ARE character bio pages after all. If a game script went anywhere on Wikipedia, it would go in the general Xenogears page, right?). Anyway, feedback? It is a biography now. I maintain the view that you could write the character background and general info sections at the beginning of the article and the storyline section could follow it. Remove the 'Disc 1' and 'Disc 2' labels if you want to. ArcTheLad 00:25, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

As I stated in the Krelian Discussion, I like the Krelian and Ramsus articles as they are better than I like the Miang. I think a listing of the scenes these characters appear in is very helpful and appropriate. It goes more in-depth than JUST a simple background check. Cyfin 12:57, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
