ACU rating
How can someone have one of the highest ratings but still be below average? That's nonsensical. In any event, the *lowest* score on that ACU report card for a Democratic senator was 21%. Kahele's was 23%. DavidNYC (talk) 01:14, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
Second Native Hawaiian to serve in Congress
Do we count the non-voting Delegate to the United States House of Representatives as serving in Congress? He technically would be the 7th person of Hawaiian descent to serve in Congress and the 2nd voting member. KAVEBEAR (talk) 03:59, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
I see that although Kai Kahele has a Native Hawaiian surname his mother's family is of Scandinavian descent and he is racially mixed. It is possible that his father Gil was also racially mixed. It would be more accurate to say that Kahele identifies primarily with his Native Hawaiian ancestry. RichardBond (talk) 02:32, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
