Untitled
[edit]This article very nearly copies the biography at http://marketplace.publicradio.org/about/cast_crew/ryssdal.html .
There have been edits in the past to avoid copyvio, but I think the article still plagarizes.Kpwa gok 17:26, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
Needs an Early Life Section
[edit]Where did he grow up? What were his parents occupations?
The combination some of his adult life details (foreign service, plus military) suggest (possibly) that he grew up in a military family. Is this so?
If not, where and in what circumstances, did he grow up?

Looks like he was not a military brat, unless I am missing some details. Rather he is the son of at least one immigrant, hence (perhaps) his international interests.

needs references
[edit]I added a tag to note that the article needs references. As the above comment notes, this may be a CV article anyway. Esrever 18:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Surname
[edit]What ethnicity is his surname? Badagnani 22:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC) His first name is either German or Scandinavian.

I think he has a Dutch father. The first name "Kai" is Scandinavian/might be German too since Germans and some Scandinavians are related.

First and last names could be Norwegian
