Christian Name[edit]

What is Kalama christian name? Many of the chiefs and chieftesses adopted christian names like Queen Kamamalu who name was Victoria and Kaahumanunamed Elizabeth. Keopuolani=Harriet, Nahienaena=Harriet, Kuakini John Adams, Kalakua Kaheiheimaile=Miriam, Kinau=Elizabeth and these chief were older than her. Also her husband reign 30 years as a Christian king didn't have a Christian Name. I wonder if they had one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.21.2 (talk) 22:29, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace?[edit]

Good question above. I wam wondering which "Kailua" it should be. My guess is the one in Kona, if her father was a Kona chief, not the one on Oahu. Which source does this come from? Also should note that the University of Hawaii place names database does not have any place named "Ka'elehulu" so wonder where that came from? some rootweb page thinks her father is the same Naihe who married Kapiʻolani. Most likely the one on the Big Island. No. on that last one. Naihe, husband of Kapiolani, was of Hilo descent, son of Ululani and her first husband Keaweaheulu, and was a orator. His only full blood sister was Keohohiwa grandmother of Analea Keohokalole, mother of Kalakaua and Liliuokalani.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:54, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Naihekukui that was Kalama's father was a Hawaiian minor chief of non-significant ancestry and a ship captain. I think comtemporary of their times like Hiram Bingham in his book described them seperately.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 05:07, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is something I'm comtemplating to or not to write down. I'm afraid it might be quite scandalous. Hint: it's about her unfaithfulness to her husband but with a little more detail.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 09:49, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
