Date problem

[edit]

"the city was next taken over by the Venetians in 1751. During the Venetian occupation the city was fortified, developed and thrived economically. However, the Turks reoccupied Kalamata in 1715"

The dates in this section can't both be right - it can't have been taken over by the Venetians in 1751 and reoccupied in 1715. Does anyone know what it should be?213.38.11.86 (talk) 13:42, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was in the earthquake in Kalamata in 1986, and it was in September, not February. I don't know the exact date, but someone needs to check this out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.106.31 (talk) 18:34, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was also in the earthquake in 1986 it was the 13th September. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.200.76 (talk) 21:00, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TEI Kalamata

[edit]

TEI of Kalamata should be added to the description of educational institutions; I think it's fairly large and important (located somewhere close to the new hospital). --Sivullinen (talk) 13:56, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note: 25.5 Celsius average high temperature seems wrong if all the month averages are added up.

Kalamata Drama and Music Schools

[edit]

These parts of the “Sights” section seem suspiciously like advertising, especially with the off-site links that were originally included leading to the school website. I removed the links, but I’m not sure whether or not to remove the schools entirely from the page, since they don’t seem like important sights. That334 (talk) 00:08, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
