Organisation of this contribution

[edit]

Dear fellow wikipedians, this article needs some adjustments and edits because some of the information given is inaccurate. There is a question of balance too. From about 1900 the identity of the building has become increasingly contested -- Hindus claiming it as the Bhoj Shala and Muslims as a mosque. We should therefore respect all sides, and not prompt discord by asserting one identity over another. It's not a question about which identity is right or wrong: in a encyclopedia entry our job is to explain for readers the currently state of play in a balanced way. Nothing in this is innovation, it's all part of wikipedia general guidelines, kind regards Shirazibustan (talk) 12:27, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Interventions

[edit]

Dear wikipedians, somebody in Sharjah, 2001:8f8:1737:2418:44fd:f3a8:9684:245, who has not created an account, has intervened in this article, adding assertions that are unsubstantiated and without citation. They can be judged partisan. Writing "People say... etc" is hearsay, and reports a personal opinion more than a scientific fact. This distorts the issue because the claim, reported from about 1900, is that the building is "Raja Bhoja's madrasa" not a temple perse. Moreover, discussion of the controversy should be put in the appropriate place in this entry, or under the Bhojshala artcle, where the matter is taken up. kind regards Shirazibustan (talk) 09:52, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As there are no comments here, the unsubstantiated claims and assertions, having no basis in the historical evidence, have been edited. Shirazibustan (talk) 12:21, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
