@Saatçioğulları: Didn't his family get the name "Saatçioğulları" in the 1930s? I believe the Turkish surname law only came into effect then. Also did his father and mother have titles like bey and hanim before the 1930s? WhisperToMe (talk) 16:43, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: Yes They have these titles in 1912. They get Tolon surname which means talentful. Also I did some edits and citations. Could you please check it. Thank you!Yiğitcank (talk) 16:54, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: I fixed the date problems. Thanks for your great helps!!--Yiğitcank (talk) 17:45, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: Did you like the article? Would you confirm it?--Yiğitcank (talk) 18:04, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@Yiğitcank: I just want to make sure there's notability (by WP:GNG) before I move it to the mainspace. I think the one book has notability, but if there are English books and articles about him it'll make it easier to demonstrate it to ENwiki users. Technically one can show notability with articles in Turkish, but it would be nice to have some English language articles too. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:11, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: Okay Thanks, I think there are few articles which are in English about him. I understood that you are trying to find articles about him. :)--Yiğitcank (talk) 18:15, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Cool! I'd like to see them! WhisperToMe (talk) 18:16, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: I searched a little bit but I couldn't find a English article about him. Maybe, I can write to his personal website in English and we can use that website.--Yiğitcank (talk) 18:19, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: Oh! There is a YouTube video about him with english subtitles. Could we use it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZPpNjWAcz0.--Yiğitcank (talk) 18:22, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@Yiğitcank: Most YouTube videos are not eligible to be used. If TOLON Global represented a museum or a book publisher that might be possible, but usually I prefer printed sources. I wonder how many TRwiki users are also heavily active on ENwiki. I'd like to move it over, but because I don't have good knowledge of Turkish (to read underlying sources) it might be good to have TRwiki users check the sources to make sure WP:GNG is matched. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:24, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@WhisperToMe: This is a printable english source!(...)--Yiğitcank (talk) 18:28, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

@Yiğitcank: Thanks for finding this. However it's just a auto-translated version of the TRwiki article and can't be cited. Maybe some TRwiki editors can confirm whether the cited Turkish sources meet ENwiki's GNG, and when they do I'll go ahead and move it. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:41, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
