Equation error?

[edit]

In the "An alternative derivation" section, should the last equation have a w(x) in it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattarth (talkcontribs) 11:16, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Started a new page as it was missing; filled in the basic details. Admittedly, it's a bit rough at the moment. Definitely needing more references, mathematical explanation, diagrams, images and links. Kegon (talk) 15:44, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not so sure about using that nabla for the gradient matrix; it's often used as an operator. My preference is to keep the formula consistent to Lucas-Kanade, so G is already used for the second image. Kegon (talk) 10:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
