Renaming the article

[edit]

This is a notice to the contributers of this page. I think this article should be moved/renamed to Kanamachi (film). Since the term Kanamachi has a completely different meaning, and the name of the film is derived from that meaning. IMHO, there should be an article on the term Kanamachi in the encyclopedia. If no one replies anything within a week, I would do the renaming without delay. If anyone disagrees, please feel free to join the conversation, and express your feeling for why the page should not be moved. Thank you! ITeachThem (talk) 18:08, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree to this preposition. I support this, and hope that others will too!Linkisawesome (talk) 16:55, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As promised, I've renamed the article into its new name. Thank you for your cooperation, Linkisawesome! ITeachThem (talk) 19:24, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, glad to help! Just wondering, if you or someone else started the page that has the actual meaning of Kanamachi, could you paste a link to it here? Thanks. :D Linkisawesome (talk) 01:15, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Actually no one has yet created an article on the original meaning of Kanamachi. Currently the page Kanamachi is redirected to Kanamachi (film), which means if you click on the former link it will automatically redirect to the latter. I hope someone might create an article on the original term very soon. But if no one does so, I shall do it myself. You can also create the article if you like, and it will be great if you do.
