Demand point of view

A recent change introduced the phrase "production point of view", thus:

"Kanban is a system to control the logistical chain from a production point of view, not an inventory control system."

Is this accurate? Perhaps: "Demand point of view" is more correct, given the article's later detail? And, perhaps the idea of inventory "pull" can be included, too? wcrosbie (talk), Melbourne, Australia 01:00, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
