There is a photograph of Schaub on page 537 of this book. Could someone please upload it on Wikimedia Commons and add it to his infobox?Zigzig20s (talk) 00:08, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas Kearns Mansion

[edit]

User:Doncram: Is it the same house as the Utah Governor's Mansion please? If that is the case, it was designed by Carl M. Neuhausen apparently.Zigzig20s (talk) 06:05, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that more research / figuring out is needed. I wonder if there are two different buildings, or if Schaub could have been involved in a renovation, or if he did something at the carriage house, or what. I agree that the 1970 NRHP document for the Thomas Kearns House / Utah Governor's Mansion seems not to mention Schaub at all. Right at this moment I cannot see the document that said Schaub designed the Kearns House. Maybe it is completely wrong on that point. --Doncram (talk) 16:21, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Got back my connection to see the Elite Hall NRHP document with the assertion about Schaub designing the Kearns House. It gives, as its source for the assertion, a footnote to: "Deseret News Obituary, Karl C. Shaub, January 31, 1959, pg.B-4". User:Zigzig20s, can you possibly get that obituary? It would likely be helpful for other development in this article, too. --Doncram (talk) 16:52, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
