[edit]I don't know how to add citations, but here is a good source for where the citation is needed about the reasons for the sulfa drug experiments and why women died unnecessarily. It's at the end of the article under his name:

[edit]here the article notes another dr. Who regained his medical license, linking to the story on that doctor, it appears it wasn't regained. Discrepancy, but a fairly major one, i mean, really would a doctor convicted at the doctor's trials be permitted to practice medicine after an early release from prison for war crimes? Maybe? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.36.163 (talk) 06:08, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Heydrich Case not so simple
[edit]For whatever reason, most legitimate sources have this account of the care of Heydrich. I researched it further and believe the correct account to be that Gebhardt did in fact treat with sulfa, just not the newer sulfa treatment that Morell believed in. Morell's treatment would keep the wound wet in his sulfa treatment; Gebhardt thought that it would be better to have a dry wound. Basically the difference was in how and how much sulfa to use, not that it should not be used at all. This makes a much less compelling story, but it seems to be the truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.69.217 (talk) 18:00, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
